Delegates from across the United States and Canada have already begun to register for the American Bus Association?s (ABA) 2013 Marketplace, which will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina on January 5th -9th, 2013.
Marketplace is the first travel and tourism show of the year. And as a recent study conducted by John Dunham & Associates proves, Marketplace is where business gets done in the group travel industry. According to the study, which investigated the amount of business booked by delegates at Marketplace 2012 in Grapevine, TX, companies that booked business at the show made a substantial return on their investment, with many delegates reporting that the income they expected to generate from Marketplace would be thirty times what they spent on the show.
The survey also showed that attendees across all member types had an enormous amount of sales successes at Marketplace 2012. Some members earned from $500,000 to $5 million in booked business.
